SearchThis release contains several new features and a few bug fixes.
All users of Varnish Enterprise are encouraged to upgrade.
The main new features are:
The new JWT VMOD. This VMOD makes it practical to manipulate JWT in VCL.
Built in client side TLS support. This feature was developed for users who need to squeeze out the maximum amount of data on the newest network hardware. For other users we still recommend keeping hitch as the TLS terminator.
The Memory governor. The status of this new feature is “tech preview”, but we expect it to become the recommended way of running Varnish Enterprise in the future.
